In a quiet corner of Ilidža, just outside the city’s rush, a small studio breathes with calm energy — shelves lined with smooth ceramic forms, air scented faintly with clay and glaze, and two pairs of hands working in perfect rhythm. This is Atelje Tisa, the home-grown creative space of Jasna and Emir, a couple whose love story is quite literally fired in a kiln.
At this year’s Living 2025 – Everything for Your Home and Soul, visitors will get the chance to discover their handmade ceramic vases — and more importantly, the story behind each one.
The Art of Quiet Craftsmanship
Jasna and Emir began their journey not in business, but in curiosity. One pottery class turned into a ritual, then a shared passion, and finally a workshop where every piece reflects their personality: minimalist, earthy, intentional.
Their vases are never overworked — soft curves, neutral glazes, and a matte texture that feels like stone smoothed by river water. Whether holding fresh eucalyptus or standing alone as sculptural pieces, their ceramics invite stillness and warmth into any space.

— “When we work with clay, time slows down,” says Jasna. “We shape it slowly, then let it rest. Sometimes it cracks. Sometimes it surprises us. And we love that — it reminds us that nothing is ever rushed in nature.” |
From Studio to Sarajevo City Hall
During Life & Style 2025, you’ll find Atelje Tisa in the Home & Decor zone, offering a selection of their most beloved vases. Some are tall and slender, others short and wide-mouthed. Each one is wheel-thrown, then hand-glazed in small batches — meaning no two are ever exactly alike.
A limited number of vases will also be part of our official event prize draw, giving lucky visitors a chance to take home a piece of the couple’s artistry.
